Silent Living consistently ponders how to preserve a structure’s cultural heritage while making its story relevant today, and they have achieved this with Casas na Areia. Like with all their homes, they’ve realized the importance of people in shaping memory, history, and place. Sharing life’s moments with others is at the heart of community and humanity. Silent Living good friend and architect, Manuel Aires Mateus, undertook the renovation.
