Casa Zarzales is a sanctuary of rest, where architecture acts as a silent witness to the landscape. Its design is 'pure and clean,' creating a timeless atmosphere that is deeply connected to the earth.

The social heart of the home is widely illuminated, inviting the outdoors in at every turn. Whether you are gathered under the pitched gabled roofs, a nod to the region’s seasonal rains, or wandering between the two main volumes, the experience is one of absolute transparency and peace. Casa Zarzales is for the traveler who seeks a home that breathes with the forest, offering a soulful, unscripted retreat from the modern world.

What makes it Kobu

Valle de Bravo - Casa Zarzales
Designed by the acclaimed studio PPAA, Casa Zarzales is a holiday residence that prioritizes the forest over the form. Situated in the dense woods of Valle de Bravo, the home’s footprint was entirely dictated by the existing pine trees, which were meticulously preserved to allow the architecture to 'get lost' in its surroundings. The project is defined by two clean, staggered volumes: one dedicated to social connection and the other to restful privacy. By utilizing glass as a primary boundary, PPAA has ensured that no space feels like a true interior. Instead, the limit between the pine forest and the living space effectively disappears, offering a high-fidelity immersion into the natural world.
Designed for up to 12 guests, Casa Zarzales features 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (including a service room) within a seamless indoor-outdoor layout. The estate is fully equipped for hosting, boasting a heated pool, elevated jacuzzi, and professional Padel court, along with a pizza oven and central fireplace. To ensure a frictionless stay, daily housekeeping and staff support are included from 9am–5pm, with private chef services available upon request.
