Amid Piedmont’s rolling green foothills at the base of the Italian Alps, this minimalist wine country oasis is a whole house of hedonist pleasures.

Ideally located in the hamlet between the Barolo, Barbaresco, and Alta Langa wine-making regions, the property is more than a luxury hotel: it’s a sustainable experience constructed with local materials and inspired by traditional architecture. Experience the luxurious Italian craftsmanship, indulge in the generous wine cellar, or stroll the truffle-rich grounds with the dogs in search of your delicious treasures.

What makes it Kobu

From our commitment to carbon neutrality to our use of 100% recycled water for irrigation, we are dedicated to creating a luxurious experience that cares for both guests and our environment.
Next to the restaurant, there is a biodynamic garden cared for by the gardener Luigi Merlo and by the Chef himself. Here, different varieties of vegetables, edible flowers and herbs, ancient seeds, different varieties of tomatoes and cabbage have been planted.
