Located in a quiet street in Montparnasse Hôtel des Académies et des Arts is a work of art in itself. From the top floor, where Modigliani had his studio, you can see Paris’ rooftops and the glass windows of the legendary Academy of Arts.

Less than ten minutes from Saint-Germain-des-prés, between Montparnasse and the Luxembourg Gardens, it is a 4-star boutique hotel with 20 large poetic rooms. The building is part of the history of the artistic life of the Belle Epoque.

L'Hôtel des Académies et des Arts has dedicated a workshop space for its artist friends. Accessible from the lounge, a workshop with a large table and art materials are available to those who wish to come and paint or draw. Introductory and advanced courses in applied arts are organized jointly with the Academy of Fine Arts: academic drawing, sketching, sculpture, and photography.
