At Bangkok Tree House, green living is etched into everything. They refuse to fumigate the area to kill any of the native insects, bamboo is used for pretty much everything (it's one of the most sustainable materials available), energy-efficient lighting and appliances are fitted, and they grow their own vegetables. Most impressively, they commit to removing one kilo of rubbish from the river per booking they receive.
Art in the trees
At the Bangkok Tree House, they believe that not everything needs a functional purpose, which is why, if you wander around the lush green gardens and jungle at the retreat, you'll find an array of curious sculptures and murals by local artists.
If you love trees, plants, exotic lizards, birds, fireflies, cicadas, butterflies and generally mother nature, you'll adore the Bangkok Tree House. With beautiful outdoor showers in most of the nests, only birds and other animals can see you.
A quiet sanctuary in Bangkok. Even though the treehouses are only five minutes away from Bangna station, they are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
