Capella Ubud – Bali

Ubud, Indonesia, From £606

About

Nestled at the heart of lush green forests, this unique tented camp sits in harmony with the surrounding nature. Inspired by the early European settlers from the 1800s, architect Bill Bensley designed Capella Ubud, Bali as a tribute to their spirit of adventure.

The refined camp is more than a hotel. Constructed within the trees and hidden from afar, it captures the imagination of those who seek a unique experience at the heart of Bali’s untouched natural surroundings. Within the camp are twenty-two one-bedroom tents as well as one two-bedroom lodge, all with private salt water pools.

The Jungle

The wall of green that reflects you as you look out of your tent or one of the beautiful terraces reminds you that you truly are deeply nestled within the Jungle. From the outside looking in the camp looks like an enchanted treetop kingdom, half-hidden in the mist rising from the undergrowth.

The Survival Kit

The jungle is not for the faint-hearted, there will be bugs, there will be suspect noises in the night, there is a very good chance you will get wet. On arrival, guests are greeted with a Jungle survival kit containing a poncho, mozzie spray and earplugs to make your jungle stay as comfortable as possible.
