Hälsingegatan 61 – Stockholm

Sold, £325,000, Stockholm

This studio apartment at the Nova Park, a new residential building with 127 apartments, is a perfect solution to enjoying the urban pace of Stockholm. Located north of the city centre, the apartment is in easy reach of the city’s main working and socialising hubs.

As well as its practical location, the raw, straightforward interior style brings a taste of New York and Berlin to the Swedish capital. The apartment features smooth, micro-cement flooring, and a specially designed staircase in matte black steel which leads up to the sleeping loft. The clay-grey coloured matte HTH kitchen features Siemens appliances and a stainless steel workbench.

Whilst compact, there is a spacious feeling inside the apartment. The 4.25 metre high ceilings and large windows, which come with blackout blinds, both help. The living space combines a place to relax and dine with plenty of room to have friends over. Sliding glass doors open up to a spacious balcony where easy outdoor living provides an extension to the interior space.

The cosy sleeping loft has a light carpet, walk-in closet and windows behind the bed wall to bring natural daylight into the space. It also features shelves for extra storage and a space for a desk. To keep studio life streamlined, more storage options are located in the welcome hall.

NYC x Stockholm

While studio lofts are more commonly found in New York City, this Stockholm apartment surprised us with its good design and high-quality finishes.

At Kobu we appreciate the raw simplicity of industrial materials such as concrete and steel, which is how we knew that this studio has good bones. It’s certainly a cool choice for a creative city base.
