The forty-four individual villas were constructed by local craftsmen using traditional materials and modernised indigenous techniques. It was essential to incorporate much of Balinese culture into the design and construction that makes up the several buildings built on a forty-five-degree slant, for both sentimental and practical reasons. These techniques have been used with this challenging landscape for centuries and no one knows these hills better than the local crafts-people who helped create one of Bali’s most beautiful resorts.
Possibly one of the most instagrammed pools in Bali. This pool has won awards. This pool has a sense of gravitas and taking a dip is a pure privilege — a baptism of luxury. The infinity pool is an architectural marvel in its own right, overlooking the lush surrounding jungle and acting as the nucleus for the whole resort.
Set within a verdant tropical rainforest, the resort offers a perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. In the evenings, enjoy a decadent dinner by the surreally beautiful pool or – for more privacy – on a Balinese mini-boat in your villa’s own infinity pool. Not to be missed is the hotel’s luxurious spa, with its extensive menu of therapeutic treatments.
