Andreas and Rosmarie Hofler were born and bred in Lana. You’ll likely see them around the hotel, offering guests a personal service that's hard to find these days. Ask them about what to do in the area - they have almost unrivalled knowledge and are happy to help.
The architecture
Hotel Ballguthof was created to contrast yet merge with its surroundings. The irregular roof merges with surrounding buildings. But these peaks also follow the mountains themselves, the black concrete allowing the hotel to blend with natural rock.
