Every last effort is made here to respect and protect the natural environment. Rainwater is recycled and Mamasan has implemented an innovating natural system to treat sewage to avoid contaminating the land. The entire hotel is powered by solar energy, making this one of Tulum's most sustainable resorts.
The interiors of the Cabins and Treehouses have been carefully selected not to distract from the beauty of the outside, but to subtly complement it. Neutral tones paired with dark wood and pale floors create a calm that has come to be Tulum’s signature vibe.
Mamasan’s eco-friendly and stylishly designed Treehouses and cabins are made out of locally sourced, indigenous, natural materials from the region. The surrounding environment here in Tulum is very much the inspiration both aesthetically and practically.
They are built in a 360 shape to encourage the Caribbean breeze inside to keep the rooms cool as well as respecting the natural environment and leaving as little impact on the surrounding land as possible.
The restaurant only uses organic, local fresh ingredients from producers all around Yucatan peninsula. They offer healthy, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Including an optional, equally delicious vegan menu.
