Architect Daniel Mayo initially began a journey to design sustainable and self-sufficient homes in 2013. One idea flowed into another and in 2015 Daniel ventured into the unknown realm of hoteling. With the help of friends in the right places and with the right knowledge, VIVOOD was born.
VIVOOD represents several key principles: sustainability, nature, lifestyle, exclusivity and architecture. This is a place for travellers to unwind and experience new sensations. To immerse themselves in the extreme natural beauty of the Aitana and La Serrella mountains.
Much more than 'just a hotel'. Disconnect from your everyday stress and routine, and reconnect with nature and yourself. An adults-only space where you can revive the senses and focus on your wellbeing.
Sleep in the middle of nature with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The suites and villas have been designed so that you can look out over the landscape and watch the sunrise and sunset, while also gazing up at the stars in the sky.
Designed by Daniel Mayo, Agustín Marí and Pablo Vázquez, the hotel blends seamlessly into the Guadalest Valley landscape and offers unparalleled views from both the rooms and large infinity pool.
The interior beautifully reflects the architecture and features key pieces from Viccarbe like the STEP sofas by Vincent Van Duysen and Ryutaro nestled table by Victor Carrasco - each piece adding to the understated elegance Vivood exudes.
