Camp Roig 31 is an expansive townhouse of more than 600 sq m, featuring a sun-bathed 410 sq m courtyard overlooking the Alaró twin peaks and surroundings. The house, built in 1910, was originally a store house and has now been restored and upgraded into a modern family residence with all the luxuries one could expect, with five to seven bedrooms, five baths, wine cellar with it’s own house wine, 10 x 4m pool, garage and much more.

The Details

What makes it Kobu

The original architecture of the house was subtle with standout features, leaving the architects plenty of room for new interpretations without desecrating the soul of the house. The house suited a toned down art deco inspired theme combined with a strong Mallorcan heritage. The architects worked with dramatic shapes created with natural materials and an earthy palette both inside and out, never losing sight of the utilitarian roots of the house.
The generous main entrance in Camp Roig 31 opens up a direct view through the house to the courtyard when entering. To the left there is a walnut panelled wall with hidden doors leading to a WC, a cloak room and the laundry room. After that there is the wine cellar, and beyond that the living and dining room. To the right, the staircase, and then the kitchen and breakfast area.
