The Details

What makes it Kobu

The Audo’s architecture team, led by Norm Architects founder Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Norm Architects partner Peter Eland, transformed a disused merchant house for a shipping magnate in Nordhavn, Copenhagen’s new waterfront city district and former industrial port. The Audo’s building is one of the oldest in the area, and, as an homage to the historic character, Norm Architects chose to preserve the building’s façade.
The Audo comes to life in collaboration with the world's most exciting design, inerior and lifestyle brands. Built on collaboration, The Audo offers fresh ideas, encounters, and inspiration to all who walk through the door. In short, the space acts as a stage for users and makers to meet and better understand each other’s wishes and needs. On top of this, the space provides an opportunity for creatives to be involved in the shaping of the world through the arts, and acts as a platform for partaking in the conversation about what creative work is and could be.
