The Details

What makes it Kobu

The old town of Banyalbufar maintains an authentic Mallorcan charm. Surrounded by countryside and the typical terraced landscaping that can be found on the northwest coast, the town had just 591 inhabitants in 2007, and in the past, due to its location the villagers had to protect themselves from pirate and Arab invasions — hence the town’s look-out tower, which has become its historic emblem.

This location is ideal for nature-lovers. The dense pinewoods, fantastic views of the sea, the steep coast and small bay with a beach make for scenic attractions at every turn.
