The Details

What makes it Kobu

Perched on the top floor, the 6,800-square-foot TriBeCa Penthouse is a masterpiece by designer Axel Vervoordt and architect Tatsuro Miki. Inspired by the Japanese Wabi aesthetic, this minimalist pied-a-terre is a meditative haven. It features antique and custom-made fixtures, an open floor plan with multi-purpose living spaces, a living room, drawing room, full kitchen, three fireplaces, two and a half bathrooms, and three bedrooms, including a master suite. The 4,000-square-foot terrace offers lush gardens, wisteria-wrapped pergolas, multiple seating and dining areas, a spa pool, gas grill, and an outdoor wood-burning fireplace.
The Greenwich Hotel's common areas showcase exceptional craftsmanship. The lobby features leaded glass windows and reclaimed oak beams, creating a cozy spot for morning coffee. Nearby, the Drawing Room offers velvet and leather couches, a wood-burning fireplace, and 12-foot ceilings with crafted bookshelves, perfect for relaxing with evening cocktails. Antique mirrored glass and French doors lead to a lush courtyard where guests can dine under latticed vines, enjoying a serene escape in the heart of Manhattan.
