Two oversized Alex Katz paintings anchor the lobby, the first pieces in a ten-work collection that carries through the hotel's corridors and select suites. It is a rare thing for a hotel to build its identity around a single artist's eye, and rarer still to do it this well. The Langham Club sits on the fourth floor overlooking Fifth Avenue, a residential-feeling lounge with all-day dining, a proper bar, and a bespoke Writer's Corner nodding to the brand's London roots. It is the kind of space that rewards a slower look, natural light through the afternoon, quiet corners built for reading or working, the small culinary presentations that shift throughout the day. We loved it enough to make it part of the story.
