High ceilings with stucco details, crystal light fixtures, and solid wood furniture. Views overlooking the hotel park with loungers and a kiosk, the rose garden, and the full moon. When dense ivy grows around windows, and room names tell 800-year-old stories, a night in one of the 72 rooms or ten suites is sure to be excellent and the morning wonderful.

The Details

What makes it Kobu

The Parkhotel and bar have been an important part of Bolzano for eternity – or so it feels. The “Manschein”, “Munschein”, “Mondschein” or “Luna” was a tavern, an inn, a manor house and a hotel. The oldest part of the building dates back to 1320. Noblemen, artists, farmers, resistance fighters and travellers from near and far used to stop here. A grippingly charming and exciting past.

Enter the park, give a wink to the kiosk, leave everything behind, disconnect. Relax and sip an iced coffee, eat a simple snack, salute the setting sun with an aperitif or a cold beer. On your own, with friends, acquaintances or strangers, everything is allowed, especially in the heat of summer when parties are also celebrated here.
